Gleneagles Hotel – News Gleneagles Hotel Proposal 2007-10 Ochil unveil golfing hotel, course & resort next door to Gleneagles. Planning application lodged for: major championship golf course + clubhouse; 180-room five-star hotel; masterplan for 250 luxury houses. Ochil Developments is owned by the Al Tajir family, Dubai Gleneagles Hotel separately proposing £18m hotel refurbishment + new spa & restaurant. Previously they had intended to extend the hotel and course with Ochil in the £300m Gleneagles West plan.
