Designed by American architect Marshall Strabala, the King Abdullah Economic
City is a major mixed use business center totaling 1.1 million square
meters (12 million square feet) to be built in western Saudi Arabia. Strabala
designed the master plan for the city as an Associate Partner in Charge
of Design at Skidmore Owings Merrill LLP. Construction has begun and is
expected to continue till about 2020.
