Design: Leo Calini and Eugenio Montuori; Massimo Castellazzi, Vasco Fadigati, Achille Pintonello and Annibale Vitellozzi
The Railway Station building was designed by the two teams that won an architecture competition in 1947.
It was inaugurated in 1950.
Principal material: travertine & reinforced concrete.
Stazione Termini contains anodized aluminium friezes by artist Amerigo Tot.

Nicknamed 'the Dinosaur' due to double curve of the cantilever roof.
The Rome Railway Station has existed since 1862.
