Marni Beijing Sanlitun, China Sybarite Architects photograph : Butsou Lai Marni Beijing Sanlitun - 19 Apr 2012 Sybarite's design for the Marni flagship in Beijing marks a shift in the evolution of the concept, utilising strong geometry and giving familiar elements a new twist. Backlit fibreglass boxes remain a central feature but the form has been squared off and enlarged, accommodating both shelving and hanging displays. Spark's design proposal dealt with the reinvention of the existing façade of Starhill Gallery facing Bukit Bintang. This reinvention of Starhill Gallery is designed by Stephen Pimbley, founding director of Spark and the architect behind Singapore’s hugely popular Clarke Quay. Inside Fashion store presents fashion by international designers. Söhne & Partner Architects tried to design the interior in a discreet but appealing way. One challenge was the size of the new shop. Only 100m² now appear to be much more extensive.
