The south of Warsaw is a chaotical neighbourhood with different architecture styles, varying building heights and a big amount of green areas that spread between them without any clearly defined shape and order.

The architects, in cooperation with PKO Bank Polski, developed a project for private banking, offered to a selected group of the Bank’s clients. The designer’s task was to create a concept of interior design corresponding to the prestigious offer of the Bank as well as being consistent with previously elaborated visual identification of PKO Bank Polski Private Banking.

schmidt hammer lassen architects has won the international architectural competition to design a 188 meter office tower in the financial district of central Warsaw, Poland. The 60,000 m2 high-rise building is to replace the existing ‘Ilmet’ building and will stand out as a modern landmark clearly identifiable in the Warsaw skyline by its unique elegant shape and appearance.

A green clearing surrounded by forest was the only context for the proposed small house. Hence the idea to “carve out” a piece of the grass-covered site, move it up and treat it as the roofing to arrange all the required functions underneath.

Park Swiatla

The site occupies a prominent position on the main road into the city centre when arriving from the Park Swiatla. Think Place won the project following an international competition last November.

Musical Academy in it’s final shape, after extension carried out in 2005-07, creates a new fragment of the city’s dense urban structure. The new building consists of two main blocks housing respectively administration and library rooms, and auditorium hall.

Polish office building
Four rectangular blocks with four and five storeys accommodating offices are set on an elevated ground-floor podium around an internal courtyard garden. That level groups together a number of amenities accessible to all users of the building, and provides circulation between the offices.

It forms part of a complex of three office buildings that organize the streetside quarter space. Seven repeatable office floors are designed on asymmetrical H plan, with a centrally situated core and a variable layout of two-bay and three-bay structures.

The architectural project presented by Estudio Lamela architects has won the International competition launched by PPL, (Polish Airport Authority) to expand and refurbish the “Fryderyk Chopin International Airport” in Warsaw, Poland.

Wroclaw city, candidate to celebrate the Expo 2012, has selected from the architect Vincent Guallart a building, as the main one of the Expo. The Guallart master plan has been awarded in the contest and the organizers decided to incorporate his main building to the candidature.
