Warsaw, 16 Apr 2009 In a truly international fashion, we present the interior design for the "Moliera 2 boutique for the Valentino and Salvatore Ferragamo brands
![]() The buildings of the National Theater in Warsaw, and its nearest vicinity, often house special, selected brands. The vicinity of prestigious restaurants, shops and clubs stresses the constantly rising and changing status of the area next to Krakowskie Przedmiescie, Warsaws primary pedestrian zone. The construction of the Metropolitan building initiated changes in this part of the city. The building in which the Moliera 2 boutique is located has been erected in the end of 1960s, on the basis of design of Bohdan Pniewski of 1966. The recent years saw constant changes of the status of its tenants, who every year raised the prestige and importance of this location. Thanks to these changes, the Moliera street is nowadays visited by more people than the students of the nearby ballet school. The boutique "Moliera 2, designed by the Robert Majkut Design studio, matches these surroundings and ambitions. The store is located on the corner of Moliera and Trebacka streets. The arcades, previously a little forgotten and dark, have been glazed and filled with light, maintaining the maximum clarity of form and style, as well as their internal communication functions. Thanks to this solution, the shape and quality of the interior space changed dramatically. The exceptional nature of this location is enhanced by the high-class clothing brands, Valentino and Salvatore Ferragamo. They bring state-of-the-art tailor quality into the new image of the place. These two brands have determined the very elegant, rather minimalistic and noble form of the boutique. The interior is characterized by discipline and perfectly selected means of expression. The arrangement serves as background for the latest models from the collections of internationally renowned designers, known for clothes worn by representatives of the political elites, movie stars, or the royalty.
![]() The factor determining the interior style was the current standard for Valentino boutiques, as seen in Italy, France or Russia. Keeping to the pre-determined style, the architect succeeded at proposing elements individually designed for this particular location. Appliqués similar to roses, inspired by the motives seen on dresses, handbags and accessories, have been reflected in the relief motifs on walls. Materials used for the boutique included high-quality stone, wallpapers from the latest collections and glass. The sophisticated combinations of textures, colors and materials follow the guidelines of the Valentino brand. The interior is given special touches by the intriguing and refined elements, such as the custom-made chandelier, Flora Cascade, by the British designer Sharon Marston. The finishing standard of the Moliera 2 boutique matches the international quality level of other boutiques where the Valentino and Salvatore Ferragamo brands are sold. The Robert Majkut Design Studio has once again proven that its designs are realized at a world-class level, and that it is a natural partner for ambitious projects involving the worlds best brands.
