400 Park avenue south, New York, USA 2002-09. Commission. At the study stage Program: Tower accommodating apartments (436 apartments distributed throughout 40 floors), shops on the ground floor, and access to the subway. Surface area: 40,000 m2 Height: 144 m Client: A+R Kalimian Reality The sculptural tower, placed at the corner of an avenue, is composed of two parts and complemented by a vertical pavilion on each side. The prismatic design of volumes gathers light while optimizing the lengthways views onto the streets.
