Apart from the history of these 21 buildings, and the strong public realm,
two things stand out for me: the beautiful ice rink - Outdoor Plaza in
winter - where my wife and I had cocktails and the supreme luxury of the
Rainbow Rooms at the very top (where we also enjoyed cocktails) looking
out over New York. You can dance away at the top of one of the highest
skyscrapers in the city.
