Keith Williams Shortlisted for the Munich Nazi Documentation Centre

Keith Williams Architects has been selected to join the international competition to design the new 3,200sqm Nazi Documentation Centre and Museum in Munich.

Williams will be competing against a stellar list which includes

Moshe Safdie
Kengo Kuma

The new project will contain will provide spaces for exhibition and education facilities, a collective space for events, presentations and discussions to remind and display the history of the Nazi epoch. The building and display is intended to be a bridge from the past to the future engaging people of all ages with this particular phase of history.

The Documentation Centre will be situated on Brienner Strasse, beside the Königsplatz, and the Kunstareal, Munich's gallery and museum quarter in the city centre.

The teams have until 20 November to prepare their proposals.
