New Images Revealed for Miami Skyscraper By Zaha Hadid

New images revealed for the late architect Zaha Hadid’s residential skyscraper in Miami.
Currently built up to the 11th floor, the tower will reach 62 storeys and measure 700 ft (210 m) tall once completed in 2018.
It features a structural “exoskeleton” that curves up the sides of the recessed glass facades, enabling floor plates to remain largely free of internal columns.

MIAMI – Real estate developers Louis Birdman and Gregg Covin today announced the name and sales representative of their new residential condominium tower in Miami, which is being designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid. The project, first announced in December, will be called “One Thousand Museum” and will be represented exclusively by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.

Located at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard on a coveted property overlooking Museum Park and Biscayne Bay, One Thousand Museum will be Zaha Hadid’s first residential skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. Rising to 62 stories, it will be comprised solely of half- and full-floor residences, duplex townhomes, and a single duplex penthouse. Museum Park (formerly known as Bicentennial Park), the future home of the Peréz Art Museum Miami and the Frost Museum of Science, is rapidly becoming one of Miami’s most prestigious cultural destinations.
