This project is considerably more complex than simply inserting two office buildings into a rich and varied urban context and involves the reworking of the retained fabric as well as new work of exceptional quality.
The 14 St George Street office building has been developed behind a terrace on St George Street and replacing a demolished building on Maddox Street. The rhythm and scale of the St George Street terrace has been referenced with ‘rooms’ behind the façade based on the line of partition walls.
