will be used to deliver a range of activities, temporarily transforming
the places it visits. It will facilitate workshops, special events,
exhibitions, and consultation, and will be a catalyst for stimulating
aspiration, engagement, knowledge, and delight. Highly flexible, the
winning design will have the capacity to adapt quickly to needs of
varying locations, clients, and communities.
beams Executive Director Robert Powell said
This is an exciting opportunity for beam and our partners and
we hope this competition attracts some inspiring and imaginative entries.
The results will allow us to get right to the heart of communities
and engage people in the places where they live, learn, work, and
play, highlighting beams commitment to integrated regeneration
- creativity, collaborative learning, and meaningful engagement.
Expressions of interest should be submitted to Jill Kelly no later
than Friday 28 March 2008. beam will announce a shortlist of three
applicants in April to develop detailed design proposals.
