'Atmospheric complete bowl with extendable ends for football.'

Scheme Design images by HOK sport architecture for the proposed multi-sports Stadium at the Maze / Long Kesh site in Northern Ireland. The unique design will incorporate rugby, football and Gaelic sports and will provide a landmark venue for Northern Ireland and an asset for the local community.

The Stadium Design brings together a range of different requirements in a cohesive whole.

'Ribbons of synergy encircling the Stadium, symbolic of a shared future.'

John Barrow, Senior Principal at HOK Sport spoke of the design intent “our vision is for a world class stadium for world class supporters – the people of Northern Ireland. This will be a stadium where every seat in the house is the best seat, and one which will be an exemplar for comfort, safety, accessibility and sustainability.”

'Open concourse with dramatic view of the pitch upon arrival.'
