We've selected what we feel are the key Greek Architects, but additions are always welcome. The focus is on contemporary Greek architects but information on traditional architecture studios is also welcome. The most celebrated architect from the past are Iktinos and Kallikrates, architects of the Parthenon in Athens. Currently there is no one most notable architecture practice, though Point Supreme Architects tend to have a profile outside of Greece. Due to economic reasons the contemporary architecture in Greece is not very bouyant and many of the key buildings recently have been designed by outsiders - notably Tschumi, Piano and Calatrava.
