IMPORTANCE OF A STRONG ARCHITECTURE

Architecture is one of the most powerful weapons on earth. A single building of such design quality can transform a city, company or brand into in one of the world’s most recognisable destinations. When we think of Australia we immediately picture the Sydney Opera House and when we about Paris we capture images of the Eiffel Tower. Iconic landmarks of such power in this age are becoming rare commodities.

However, in recent years clients have begun to see the commercial value with commissioning buildings of architectural significance. Examples such as the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum or the Birmingham Selfridges department store in have clearly illustrated that confidence in progressive architectural styling can gain enormous financial reward.

The ‘Burj Al Arab’ hotel in Dubai continues to be the single largest pulling power for tourism in the country and has spurred on other colossal development projects such as the ‘Palm’ and ‘World’ islands. The future and variety of quality architectural statements is slowly becoming the only way to go forward with construction.
