The Client’s design brief requires an iconic and high-end, striking design hotel and serviced apartments’ tower. The development will provide a range of hotel guest rooms and different types of serviced apartments, served by several choices of leisure and hospitality facilities. The tower comprises of 60 levels of luxurious guest rooms, serviced apartments, royal suites, presidential suites and triplex apartment. Dubai tower images © from Atkins The tower seats on an impressive 6-storey podium that has a remarkable cylindrical glass tower jutting out of its elliptical roof. It houses the all day dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, lounges, conference and banqueting facilities, health club and spa facilities, back of house services and 2 basements below grade providing parking facilities and electro-mechanical services. The tower ascends to a total height of 302.40 meters above the ground. It has uninterrupted views over the sea from one side and towards Dubai Marina and the desert from the opposite side. The tower has been carefully positioned and oriented to maximise the surrounding views. The tower will be a striking and aerodynamic piece of architecture in a combination of clear/ light grey tinted glass, crisp white and dark grey composite aluminium panels and silver aluminium fins and features. The Beach Front Hotel has been visualised as a modern landmark that would reflect the resort lifestyle. The bold composition utilises an interesting play of spaces and volumes, making it stand out as a dynamic and expressive signature building that is quite exclusive from its surrounding buildings.
