Come to discover the Makers, Startups and Designers, winners of a space @Ex Fornace. [re]vive is a 4 days happening transforming an unused building into a productive space of culture and making.

Be part of the debate and attend the conferences that will face with key topics on the evolution of the design culture and practice.

Powered by [im]possible living

[im]possible living is a web platform specialized on unused building mapping all over the world and their reactivation through collaborative actions with citizens. Thanks to the energies of those who are looking for new paths to design and living, during the Fuorisalone 2013 [im]possible living will reactivate the unused spaces of the Ex Fornace sul Naviglio – formally a library but never used.

Through this web platform, on the 14th of March [im]possible living launched [re]vive call for ideas asking Makers, Startups and Designers to be part of the Ex Fornace reactivation. More than 40 projects have been selected by [im]possible living. From the 11th to the 14th of April a library of design and technical innovation will be put on stage inside the Ex Fornace spaces: a physical and virtual database of the expressions of contemporary creativity in Italy and abroad.

[re]vive is a source of opportunities. It is the opportunity to display for an affordable price in a space at the core of the Fuori Salone at the Milan Design Week 2013. It’s the opportunity to collectively revive an unused but splendid building. It’s the opportunity to testify uses and practices that can concretely become a part of the urban and social agenda of the city of Milan. It’s the opportunity to test a desirable form of the contemporary library: instead of just being an access to knowledge, the space will become the stage for the creative production, networking and innovation. But above all… it’s an opportunity for people.

During the four-days-event, many conferences and debates will focus on several topics related to design, culture and experimentation.
