Extract from Building PR 4 Jan 2007 by Erick van Egeraat Architects:

The Mayor of Budapest, Mr. Gábor Demszky and the Board of Trustees of the Budapest Assembly have awarded Erick van Egeraat the "For Budapest" award in recognition of his architectural services to Budapest. To date, Erick van Egeraat is the only non-Hungarian to receive this award since its inception over 12 years ago.
