Webb Bridge
A competition-winning design for a new pedestrian/cycle bridge over the Yarra river, as part of a public art project, in Melbourne’s Docklands area. The brief called for the re-use of the remaining sections of the Webb Dock Rail Bridge, in order to link the Docklands on the north side to the new residential developments on the south side.

Teglværk Bridge
The Teglværk Bridge serves to connect the two islets of the harbour, Teglværkshavnen, and gather the new urban area in one harmonic unit. The development of the area is a part of the plan towards improved development and utilisation of the harbour.

The bridge consists of two towers tied together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways, designed to withstand the horizontal forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers.

The function of bridges extends beyond mere utility, and they have an inherent significance and symbolism as connectors and conduits, gateways and meeting places, landmarks and icons. This bridge is only a small component of the UOL’s ambitious plans to for expansion to the north of the Shannon yet assumes a strategic importance that transcends its physical presence.

Western Avenue Footbridge
Designed for Transport for London’s Streets department, the footbridge is one element of a major redevelopment project for this stretch of road which has also seen the replacement of two major road bridges. The bright yellow span replaces a damaged existing footbridge that provided stepped access only.

The bridge join the two banks of the lake, which are at different heights, with a slender arched structure. The foundations are concealed under the steel structure making the transition between bridge and nature more refined.
