Bangkok Architecture
Bangkok is the capital of Thailand in southeast Asia. Thailand is located north of Malaysia, west of Vietnam and Laos and east of Burma. We've selected what we feel are the key examples of Bangkok Architecture. We aim to include Bangkok Buildings that are either of top quality or interesting, or ideally both.
We cover completed Bangkok buildings, new building designs and architectural exhibitions. We also post architecture competitions across Bangkok.

Fai-Fah Bangkok - 11 Apr 2012
Fai-Fah, which means “light energy”, is a corporate social responsibility programme initiated by TMB Bank. The programme acts as a catalyst for change in Thai society through working with underprivileged children and teenagers in their community using the arts as a vehicle for self-development and creative thinking. The architects were invited to design Fai-Fah Prachautis, the refurbishment of two shop houses located in a residential district of Bangkok.

The passenger terminal complex at Suvarnabhumi Airport resulted from an International Competition. The task of creating a new gateway to Thailand in a tropical climate necessitated a different approach to architecture and engineering. After 11 years of planning and construction the Terminal building opened in 2006.
