Last year's host, Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen The awards are open to individuals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the world of architecture. Previous winners have included Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, Zaha Hadid, David Copperfield, SOM, Steven Holl and Terry Farrell. The exhibition will feature over numerous exhibitors showcasing their products and services to the international LEAF audience. The LEAF Forum will run concurrently with the exhibition in its traditional format of one-to-one business meetings. Jurgen Mayer, one of the world's top architects, is attending this year's LEAF event and will deliver the opening address. Mayer will be one of the many high profile speakers at LEAF International where the main focus of this year's event will be on sustainable development and its application through sustainable construction within the industry. Mathias Häußler of ENERGATE will lead a presentation on 'Passive Housing - Delivering a quality of life'.
