Emilio Ambasz Prize for Green Architecture

Project of the Year and the Emilio Ambasz Award for Green Architecture 2013, Israel

An initiative of AI and the EU, the competition is open to architects, designers, landscape architects, researchers and students, who are invited to submit work designed or written since 2009.

The work must be organized in PowerPoint or PDF presentation at a maximum weight of 5 MB,beginning with a short explanatory text, including location, purpose, the circumstances in which it was designed or written, its unique aspects and completion date.

Emilio Ambasz Prize for Green Architecture

Chaired this year by Bjarke Ingels and Thomas Christoffersen of the BIG Group, the judging panel included: Arch. Yitzhak Laiwand – head of the School of Architecture at Tel Aviv University; Arch. Osvaldo Stav – chairman of the judging committee of the Architects Association; Arch. Baruch Baruch – head of the School of Architecture at Wizo Haifa; Glass artist Jeremy Langford; Dr. Tigran Haas, Assoc. Prof. in Urban Planning & Design, Stockholm; Artist Prof. Siona Shimshi; Arch. Prof. Benamy Turkienicz, Brazil; Arch. Prof. Moshe Tzur; Arch. Yosi Sivan; Arch. Prof. Jan Olav Jensen, Oslo; and Arch. Arad Sharon from Sharon Architects that annually grants the Arieh and Eldar Sharon Award for Creative Students.
As every year, management of the competition was in the hands of Rachel Ben Aharon.
