established in 1959 to recognise the very best in architecture, design,

during the last 50 years.
The Civic Trust Awards will recognise each of the projects on the shortlist
by presenting them with either and Award or Commendation:

or economically whilst making an outstanding contribution to the quality
and appearance of the environment. Winners of Civic Trust Awards receive
a certificate and a plaque for permanent display on the award-winning site.
Commendations - are given to projects that are of benefit culturally, socially
or economically whilst making a valuable contribution to the quality and
appearance of the environment. Winners receive a certificate.
