14 Jul 2010 Big Rock House Jetty Residence in Kangaroo Valley New South Wales, Australia Design: Edward Szewczyk + Associates Architects Location: Illawarra region of New South Wales Big Rock Jetty was voted as a Best New Global Design at the 2011 International Architecture Awards co-presented by Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and European Centre of Architecture in Dublin. Kangaroo Valley is a rift valley along the Kangaroo River in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia, located west of the seaside in the City of Shoalhaven. Big Rock house has been part of international architectural exhibition at XIII Biennale of Architecture in Buenos Aires - Oct 2011. It also featured on the cover of AIA Architecture Bulletin - Dec 2011, and in The Sourcebook of Contemporary Houses by Harper Collins Publishers - 2012.
