Established in 1984, Ziger/Snead has provided high quality design and superior client service for numerous public and private clients. We believe that the best architecture is true to its time, place, and purpose. We aspire toward work that is well-crafted, optimistic, open, simply and clearly articulated, and engaging.
Our work is not representational or symbolic, but rather strives to communicate through its clarity and appropriate use of architectural vocabulary.
Proportion, materials, detailing, and lighting serve to support functional and aesthetic goals. Long-term maintenance and sustainability are important on every project; projects that are efficient and thoughtfully conceived naturally result in sustainable solutions. Our work is responsible to program, budget, and context.
We take great pride in finding thoughtful, creative, dignified solutions to complex problems and those of limited resources. Our firm’s strength is with projects that require creative solutions to complex and unique programs.
