Tadashi Suga Architects - Major Design Black House, Kobe-city, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan 2002 photo : Yoshiharu Matsumura Black House The elegant house by Tadashi Suga rests on a hill that commands a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. Prior to the renovation a forest windbreak had obstructed the view of the sea from the house. We capitalized on the renovation oceanic view into the design. The house adopts a hybrid structure; reinforced concrete for the first floor and wood for the second floor.
