SAMUEL A. BUDIONO & ASSOCIATES has been established in Indonesia since 1992 with offices in Surabaya and Jakarta.
Samuel A. Budiono, M.Arch, BSAS, IAI is the founder of the firm and hold a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, USA. In addition, Samuel A. Budiono received architectural training from the Europe Study Program in Paris, France & Berlin, Germany and also worked in the United States before moving back to Indonesia to open hios own office. As an accomplished jazz pianist & composer who have also produced record albums, his passion for music and architecture are inseparable which gives a lyrical touch to his architecture.
Samuel A. Budiono & Associates' projects have received International Awards and been exhibited in Cityscape Architectural Review Awards in Dubai - UAE, ArchiFest in Singapore and World Architecture Festival in Barcelona - Spain. Samuel A. Budiono has also been invited as a speaker at many architecture forums including World Architecture Congress in Singapore.
Nominated for SIA-GETZ Architecture Prize 2008 for Emergent Architecture in Asia
