About PLP Architecture
PLP Architecture was founded in 2009 by Lee Polisano, David Leventhal, Fred
Pilbrow, Karen Cook and Ron Bakker, the former partners who were responsible
for leading KPF's London office over the last 20 years.
Together, this team was responsible for a series of innovative designs
which have been recognised by many honours. Such projects include the
Heron Tower and The Pinnacle, both under construction in the City of London,
the major expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport and, at a smaller
scale, buildings for the Rothermere American Institute and St Anne's College
at the University of Oxford.*
PLP has established a fully operational architects studio in Carlow House,
Camden Town with a team of over 70. PLP is presently working on a number
of projects in the U.K. and abroad, including a mixed-use tower in the
City of London for Heron International, the over-site development at Bond
Street Station for Grosvenor, a hotel in Abu Dhabi for Mubadala and a
large scale urban planning project for the Qatar Foundation.
*These are KPF (London) projects on which Lee Polisano, David Leventhal,
Fred Pilbrow, Karen Cook, and Ron Bakker worked in the capacity of partners
in charge of design and management.
