LDS Practice Information

This architectural office is based in London, England: the architecture practice since renamed as Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands (LDS).

Background on LDS

LDS has been in existence for 22 years and has carried out a wide variety of award-winning projects for commercial and public sector clients and for charities. The practice has approximately a half of its work in the commercial office and residential sectors with the remainder in many other types of commission including hotels, shops and restaurants, sports and community buildings, the education sector, bridges, industrial design and temporary structures.
LDS has won numerous national and international design awards and are proudest of recognition from expert user groups.

A London-based firm, Lifschutz Davidson Architects was set up in 1986 and specialises in residential and retail property. Clients include J Sainsbury and Harvey Nichols. Recently the practice has formed a joint venture with FPD Savills to promote a new approach to housing. The firm has several RIBA awards, the most recent being in 1997 for the Oxo Tower Wharf, London
