Practice Information

Leigh & Orange Ltd, founded in Hong Kong in 1874, is a large, well-established international architectural and interior design practice. The group operates through it's Headquarters in Hong Kong with Branch Offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Fuzhou, Bangkok, Dubai, Bahrain and Qatar.

Leigh & Orange (L&O) is certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and operates an Integrated Management System covering quality, environment and safety. The Practice offers high quality design and project management services to local and overseas Clients on a wide range of building types (commercial, educational, equine, hospitality, institutional, recreational, residential, interiors and special uses such as transportation, conservation & historic and religious) in both the public and private sectors. The practice adopts an innovative design approach for all projects, incorporating the latest intelligent building ideas in addition to the green concepts of sustainability, energy conservation and minimal environmental 'footprint'.

L&O's work is thoroughly contemporary and demonstrates consistency of interest in elegant, functional forms, hierarchy, environmental responsiveness, contextual materials and a delicate, intricate hand with facades and the use of patterning to enliven surfaces. The Practice embraces traditions in the use of material palettes and linguistic references which have direct relevance to precedents in culture and place.
