Hyder acquires Holford Associates

“We have completed our largest acquisition since listing in 2002 with the purchase of Middle East regional architectural and interior design practice, Holford Associates, for an initial £9.2 million.

Holfords has been operating primarily in Dubai for over 20 years; its current portfolio includes projects across the United Arab Emirates and Oman including Mirdif City Centre Retail Development, Eastern Mangrove Development in Abu Dhabi and The Kingdom of Sheba Resort Development on The Palm Jumeriah. Its turnover for the year to 30 September 2007 was £8.2 million, with profits before tax of £2.5 million.”

Mar 2008 – Hyder purchased Middle East regional architectural and interior design practice, Holford Associates, for an initial £9.2 million.

Holfords has been operating primarily in Dubai for over 20 years; its current portfolio includes projects across the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

David Tripney, who was a partner at Dubai practice Holford Associates when it was bought by consultant Hyder back in 2008, is now part of the Kettle Collective.
