An excellent set of photos for this large-scale redevelopment one of the Scotland’s best-loved historic cultural spaces, the Kelvin Hall building.

Apparently the project is enjoying world-class success for its innovative combination of culture, education and sports in the same multi-use venue.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, Graven collaborated with Page\Park Architects working on the interior design of specific spaces, environmental branding, exhibition design, signage and wayfinding.

The £24.5m redevelopment project transformed Kelvin Hall into a centre of cultural and sporting excellence, encouraging participation in, and engagement with, the wide range of amenities housed within. It now attracts around 25,000 visitors per week.

Soluis Group and this Glasgow design studio have teamed up to design a new hotel for Radisson RED, Carlson Rezidor’s new upscale lifestyle select brand inspired by the millennial lifestyle and fuelled by art, design, music and fashion. Designers at the design firm developed sketches and initial design ideas, which Soluis Group then turned into 3D visualisations.

The newly-opened Radisson Blu Mall of America (MOA), directly connected to over 500 shops and restaurants in one of the world’s biggest shopping malls, features stunning interiors by these British designers inspired by its unique retail environment; the character and history of its location in Bloomington, Minnesota; and the European design influence, integral to its parent brand’s DNA.

The brief was to design a small but iconic bar which, though directly connected to the Radisson SAS Hotel, could have its own identity, particularly with non-residents.
“Leather upholstered cafe booths and deep lounging areas create a hierarchy of seating which helps the space work throughout the day and evening.

Focused on interiors. Their first key design was the Collage Bar at the Radisson in Glasgow, working with gm+ad architects. Winning the project to design the Scottish Parliament Exhibition just within the entry to this world-famous building was a major coup for the studio.
