The Cologne architectural office was founded in 1984 by Prof. Dörte Gatermann and Elmar Schossig in Cologne. The projects and implementations cover the entire range of architectural subjects with a main focus on building for industry, technology and administrative use.

The firm achieved its greatest success in the construction of industrial and administrative buildings. This Cologne architectural practice is known for high technical and environmentally sustainable standards and for its award-winning innovations.

This architectural office’s work has been honored with well over 150 competitive prizes and awards and has been published and exhibited both nationally and internationally. After a prolonged illness, Elmar Schossig died in 2009. Dörte Gatermann continues to lead the office toward a prosperous future by developing innovative products in architecture together with experienced Project Managers Holger Thor, Sven Gaeßler and Jan Rübenstrunk.
