de Architekten Cie. and Lada Hršak from HL architecture won this architecture competition held by The Ministry of Justice of Georgia and supports the countrywide reform for renewal of public services. Eight PSH buildings are (almost) realised and eight new ones are about to come.

De Architekten Cie. has won the open international Kaohsiung Port Station Urban Design competition in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The 15.42 hectare site, is the derelict Port Station Railyards of the old port of Kaohsiung is to be transformed into a vibrant, new urban district centered around a linear park which highlights the cultural and historical heritage of the site.

Tianjin has north China’s leading port. The population of the area surrounding this port complex, the Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA), is expected to increase by at least 200,000 people over the coming decade. The international competition for the expansion plan for this area has been won by de Architekten Cie. in association with DHV. This is the third success achieved by Cie. Asia, which has been based in Shanghai since 2006 and has already won design competitions for the Tianjin Railway Station and the Culture Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

de Architekten Cie. is an internationally oriented Dutch architectural firm with thirty years of experience in building and planning. Based in Amsterdam, de Cie. has branch offices in Zagreb, Croatia, and in Shanghai, China. Covering new building projects, restoration and renovation, its main fields of operation are building design, master planning, urban planning, social and urban research as well as interior design.

de Architekten Cie. is a network organization headed by three executive architects (the partners Pi de Bruijn, Branimir Medić, and Pero Puljiz). The firm's professional set-up ensures that partners act as the creative and intellectual masters over their own projects and regularly participate in one another's. They collaborate with around 60 members of personnel of more than a dozen nationalities. de Architekten Cie. has the size, structure, flexibility, and experience to take on complex, large, and long-term projects.

Both internally and externally de Architekten Cie. works in teams. Internal project teams manage the commissions through all phases of the work so as to ensure a clear-cut, responsible coordination of client's and architect's interests. Custom-made teams facilitate the integration of creative, technical, economic and management expertise with the planning and design of each project. Disciplines represented within the office include architecture, planning, technical drawing, project management and social and urban research. Exterior design teams usually consist of various specialists and form the basis of a multidisciplinary approach of esthetics, construction, mechanics, environment, economy and management.

de Architekten Cie. is aware that in the contemporary condition an architectural firm should provide more than design creativity and building management alone: knowledge and experience become the decisive factors when seeking success in an international arena.
