Jade Ocean tower
At 50 stories, Jade Ocean is more like a boat trip across the Atlantic than a condo tower, with designs fashioned after ocean travels and dramatic shifts between east and west exposures. A cascading fan of sails and six-story waterfall rests at its base, pointing up toward the arrival deck. Here, at the rear of the tower amid sea and sky, is the valet and lobby entry, prime real estate typically reserved for amenities.

The Opéra National de Paris is one of the weakest buildings of President Mitterrand´s “Les Grands Projects” and much vilified. The story goes that the judges thought it was by Richard Meier but in the ‘blind’ architecture competition a fairly unknown architect, Carlos Ott, won.
