Built around a 3.4 mile racetrack, the facility has the capacity for 120,000 visitors and will become a significant attraction for the city of Austin. Miró Rivera Architects designed the entry sequence into the facility, Grand Plaza, Observation Tower, Tower Amphitheater and Main Grandstand.

Museum of Fine Arts Houston
Steven Holl Architects selected to partner with the museum to develop an expansion that enlarges the presentation of its collections, exhibitions, and myriad educational programs. The project will entail the construction of a new museum building intended primarily for art after 1900 to complement the Audrey Jones Beck and Caroline Wiess Law Buildings. Further, the project will address the integration of the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden and the expansion of the Glassell School of Art. A new parking facility will be added, as well.

Irving Convention Center
The Las Colinas Convention Centre in Texas, designed by RMJM Hillier’s New York Studio, is wrapped in copper cladding designed to generate a changing patina as it ages over time – a striking and timeless icon for a Western boomtown in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Unlike the typical horizontal orientation of most convention centres, the £82m, 275,000 sqft multi-functional facility at Las Colinas incorporates a stacked 50,000 sqft column free exhibit hall, a 20,000 sqft ballroom and 20 large meeting rooms in a vertical interplay of copper, glass and steel.
