Skanska USA Building and Shook Construction to Provide
Construction Management Services for Miami Valley Hospital

DAYTON, OH, June 24, 2008 – Skanska USA Building Inc. and joint venture partner Shook Construction announced that they have been named construction manager for the new $135,000,000 Miami Valley Hospital Heart Tower project located in Dayton, Ohio.

The design firm NBBJ will provide the design services for the 484,000-square-foot patient tower. The project broke ground in May of this year with an expected late 2010 completion date.

A comprehensive heart center will make up a major part of the new patient tower, and will feature 180 private patient rooms, a cardiac intervention center and cardiac surgery suites. New construction will also include future capacity for 72 additional private patient rooms, a new patient/visitor entry lobby, two levels of underground parking, overhead pedestrian connectors and a loading dock.
