Miami Valley Hospital, Ohio, Architecture, Building, Architect, Image, News, USA Miami Valley Hospital Ohio : Architecture InformationDayton Project by NBBJ Architects, United States of America23 Jun 2008 Skanska USA Building and Shook Construction to Provide Construction Management Services for Miami Valley Hospital DAYTON, OH, June 24, 2008 Skanska USA Building Inc. and joint venture partner Shook Construction announced that they have been named construction manager for the new $135,000,000 Miami Valley Hospital Heart Tower project located in Dayton, Ohio. ![]() The design firm NBBJ will provide the design services for the 484,000-square-foot patient tower. The project broke ground in May of this year with an expected late 2010 completion date. A comprehensive heart center will make up a major part of the new patient tower, and will feature 180 private patient rooms, a cardiac intervention center and cardiac surgery suites. New construction will also include future capacity for 72 additional private patient rooms, a new patient/visitor entry lobby, two levels of underground parking, overhead pedestrian connectors and a loading dock.
