Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial Inc. is sponsoring an international open two-stage design competition for the purpose of realizing an inspiring Memorial to the Holocaust and genocide on a magnificent site dedicated for that purpose by the city of Atlantic City, NJ.

Type: Open International Two-Stage

Design Challenge: To build Inspiring Memorial to the Holocaust and genocide on a magnificent site dedicated for that purpose by the city of Atlantic City.

Competition: First Stage anonymous online only; Second Stage models required

Language: English

Registration Fee: $100 ($50 student)

Awards: First Stage up to US $30,000, Second Stage Winner Awarded Commission to Realize Winning Design

Jury: Daniel Libeskind, Wendy Evans Joseph, Richard Meier, Michael Berenbaum, Clifford Chanin, James Young, Dr. Paul Winkler

Registration: October 1, 2009, to February 15, 2010

Submissions: November 1, 2009, to March 15, 2010
